My trip to the san jose rosacrusion museum



                 We had a field trip to the museum so at 11 me and my class loaded in to the bus. It took about 15 minutes to get there. When we went inside the tour guide showed us mummies of a cat, dog ,human,mouse,rat,snake,and a catfish. They had real artifacts such as boats made out of clay and a tablet with writing on it. They said how the process of mummifaction happened. at 12 we had lunch and i had a tuna sandwhich. After that we went to the thomb of a mummy. The top was covered with glass but the carchoughagus had a hook and flail. Then i saw a robotic mummy which i got an autograph form.  Then they told us the process of mummififcation. First they get a hook push it thorugh the nose and pull it out. Then the body is washed in the nile river. Next, all of the organs exept the heart are placed in tapioca jars but the heart. The heart will help the man who died in the afterlife. Then they start wrapping him in linen. Special charms called amuelets are placed between the wrappings and the body is placed in the sarcoughagus. Then the book of the dead is placed next to him and the lid is placed on.
